Jot Condie, President and Chief Executive Officer of the California Restaurant Association
Jot Condie joined the California Restaurant Association in May of 1999. He was promoted to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer on May 17, 2004. Prior to this post, Condie served as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy, where he was the restaurant industry's chief lobbyist and political strategist in California. In that capacity he built the CRA PAC into one of the largest small-business trade association PACs in California and raised $18 million from the restaurant industry to fight Prop 72 in 2004.
He serves as a Board Director for the National Restaurant Association, is an Officer/Board member for the National Council of State Restaurant Associations, appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to the California Tourism Commission, and is a Board Member of the California International Relations Foundation and Collins' College Board of Advisors.
A resident of Sacramento, California, Jot lives with his wife Kristen Simoes, their 5-year old daughter, Halle, and twin 14-year-old boys, Garrison and Jot.

He was co-founder and President of Amy's Ice Creams, based in Austin, Texas; Partner & Chief Operating Officer of CAFE TU TU TANGO, a Nation’s Restaurant News "Hot Concepts" award-winner; and Chief Operating Officer of the Austin Grill, an award-winning seven-unit chain, based in Washington, DC.
Scott received a B.A. from Yale University with a major in Latin American Studies.
